Our Story

The vision behind The Behavior Hive was shaped by deeply personal experiences. Founders Shaneya Logan and Sandra Yepez Haro both grew up alongside close family members diagnosed with Autism in the late 1990s and early 2000s. From an early age, they witnessed the isolation, uncertainty, and lack of support that many families face when navigating an Autism diagnosis. These formative experiences sparked a lifelong commitment to supporting neurodiverse individuals and empowering their families. When Shaneya and Sandra met, they quickly recognized a shared passion and aligned values that were centered on providing high-quality, assent-based, and neurodiversity-affirming care. What began as a shared vision soon became a mission: to create meaningful, lasting change in how services are delivered and experienced.

Shaneya Logan, M.Ed, BCBA, LBA is the co-owner of The Behavior Hive LLC. Shaneya started studying Autism in 2011 when she began working at the UC Davis M.I.N.D Institute as an intern researcher focused on social skills and MRI imaging. After a year of internship, it became clear that research was not the field that Shaneya wanted to pursue to help families like her own. In 2012, she began working as a behavior technician in the field of ABA and quickly realized that ABA and the direct impact seen by families was her life calling. In 2014, Shaneya began pursuing her Masters of Special Education with an Emphasis in Applied Behavioral Analysis at the University of Washington. Shaneya became a BCBA in 2017 and has held several roles since becoming certified from being a clinical quality manager, clinical director, and a regional director. Her specialties include early intervention, high risk behavior management, ADHD training, and being a certified behavioral sleep practitioner. Outside of ABA, Shaneya enjoys spending times with her partner, her two dachshunds, reading, crocheting and salsa dancing.
